We recently hosted our Family Literacy Night in celebration of the school’s One School, One Book Challenge centered around the novel Pie by Pie and Sarah Weeks.

Families gathered for an evening of literacy, fun, and community, beginning with baked goods and an Alex’s Lemonade Stand hosted by our 4th Grade Alpha Club students. Throughout the night, families participated in interactive activity stations together before wrapping up the event with an exciting Kahoot battle in the cafeteria. As part of the initiative, every Roberts student received a copy of Pie to read and enjoy at home, helping create a shared reading experience across the school community.

In May, Roberts released its Painted Lady butterflies! K-4 students spent the past month researching and observing the butterflies in the library, and even named all 30 caterpillars. We’re sad to see them go, but excited for them to spread their wings in nature!
