What is the Child Study Team? 

The Child Study Team meets weekly to review data and create action plans to help students succeed academically and behaviorally. The goal of Child Study Team is to determine interventions and action items that will support student growth. 
 

Who is on the Child Study Team?

The Child Study Team consists of the Principal, School Counselor, Classroom teacher, Reading Specialist, School Psychologist, Learning Support teachers, ESL teacher, Speech Therapist and Occupational Therapist.  The Behavior Analyst, Social Worker or Instructional Coaches may attend as needed.
 

How do you refer a child to the Child Study Team?

Students can be referred by teachers, parents or administrators. If you have concerns about your child's academic progress or behavior and would like to request a Child Study Team meeting, please email your school counselor or principal.
 

How do I know what happens at Child Study Team?

After our CST meeting, your child’s classroom teacher will follow up with you to discuss action items.
